RICE BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION (RBPC)

The Rice Business Plan Competition, hosted by the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship at Rice University in Houston, Texas, is the largest and wealthiest student startup competition in the world. Held annually, the RBPC attracts university-based startups from across the globe, offering them a chance to pitch their business ideas to judges comprising investors, industry leaders, and seasoned entrepreneurs. This year, RBPC 2024 featured dozens of ambitious teams vying for substantial prize pools, invaluable mentorship opportunities, and significant visibility in the entrepreneurial community.  OSPHIM, a standout participant at RBPC 2024, not only made a strong impression but also took home three prestigious awards. These achievements were a testament to the team’s innovative approach, persuasive business case, and the significant impact of their vision. The awards OSPHIM received included:

$200,000 GOOSE Capital Investment Prize: GOOSE Capital, a well-respected investment firm known for supporting visionary entrepreneurs, awarded OSPHIM a $200,000 investment. This prize will play a crucial role in helping OSPHIM bring their business plans to life and expand their operations.

OSPHIM’s ability to communicate their vision succinctly and effectively earned them the title of Best Elevator Pitch in the Digital Enterprise category, highlighting their communication skills and the compelling nature of their business solution.
